Former Chelsea Star Oscar Announces Retirement Due to Heart Condition

Brazilian midfielder Oscar, who played for Chelsea from 2012 to 2017 and earned 48 caps for the national team, has announced his retirement from professional football after being diagnosed with a serious heart condition. The 33-year-old playmaker, who was instrumental in Brazil’s preparations for previous World Cups, will no longer be available for the Seleção’s 2026 World Cup campaign. Oscar won the Premier League, Europa League, and League Cup during his time at Stamford Bridge before moving to Shanghai Port in the Chinese Super League.
